So apparently the Canadian government after working for months on a new parliamentery agenda has decided its “important business” to change the lyrics to our national anthem… seriously, I saw the proposed changes in today’s paper, and if the issue is that the lyrics aren’t gender neutral, then change that line, and don’t mess with the other awesome lyrics… here’s all you need to change ONE WORD!!

not to mention the fact that the Government has a bit more serious things to be dealing with at the moment rather than changing some words in a song… you just prorogued; a decision that wasn’t taken very nicely by about 60% of Canadians.
